The Companies (Registrar, Languages and Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2006 clarifies that limited companies must include their full legal name, their registered office address and their registration number on all emails and on their website.
The SI was passed into English law late in December and takes effect from 1 January 2006.  In an explanatory note, there is an apology for the short notice, being less than 21 days, however the point is made that the Companies Act 1985 and the new 2006 Act already cover the point in respect of 'business letters', this is now being clarified as including electronic messages.

So, a good time to check that legal terms on your website include company registration details and likewise with email signatures.
