The main sponsor of the event was Business4Brunch.com. Nigel Copley of Business4 Brunch.com commented on the Trade Show, “The event has allowed us to introduce the site to a huge number of companies and professionals, enabling us to grow the member base to increase it to well over 600 members! The Trade Show generated a huge amount of interest and activity on the site which is key to all the members’ success.”
The show also provided business information to visitors and exhibitors through Key Speakers Peter Roper who offers his knowledge into “Why 81% of business presentations fail!” Keeping the attendees interested in what he had to say and explaining the value presentation skills have on a business. Stewart Evans – Regional Director of BRE Midlands gave insight into the importance of business networking and not only doing it but doing it well. His lively and enthusiastic approach to networking saw the room buzzing with smiles and business cards and generated a feeling of ease of networking. Finally Joel Graham-Blake offered his insight into the Diversity mindset with business today, explaining how what we think and believe can alter the way we conduct and do business.
Just a few comments from our exhibitors –
Val Pestell – New Business Department;
“I was not too sure what to expect from this morning as I am a novice in this area!! I was pleasantly surprised from the mix of people and attendees that showed this morning. I did like the speakers and thought this was added value both to me and also people attending. Some leads were better than others as always but I would be confident to say I would expect to get my money back. It also broke up the morning and was fun. Please include me next time. “
Emma Walker – CKPA Office Solutions;
Event went well but was a little difficult to track visitors as there were 3 open doors so didn’t get a chance to speak with some people. I found the event enjoyable and worthwhile for my time and money – many thanks.
The visitors to the event not only benefitted from the knowledge of the speakers but also all the exhibitors;
LG Davis, Natwest Bank, Business Link West Midlands, Help the Aged, Goldcrest Cleaning Ltd, Sameday UK Ltd, ACAS, Corkscrew Events, Southern Cross Healthcare, Tempus IT, Irwin Mitchell, BRE, Business Feet, Dark Moon Consulting, Woodside Conference Centre, and Ravi’s Wines.
All the attendees to the event were able to benefit from the informal networking atmosphere and actually get to meet and talk to each other about their own businesses.
The next event is scheduled to take place on Thursday 1st November and is already looking to be another great success for all both exhibitors and visitors. So book your place now and come and promote yourself and your business.
