SEO Success for Metalfrog and Evolution Valet

Written by Chris Wheeler Tuesday, 20 November 2007
PRESS RELEASE30TH October 2007  SEO (Successful Early Optimisation?)

By Metalfrog Studios

One of the myths regarding Search Engine Optimisation is that it has to be ridiculously expensive.

Another is that lasting results can be achieved immediately on engines such as Google. Whilst looking into the subject of SEO, which has inspired so much controversy, and upon which so many myths have been propounded, I was actually delighted to come across a true success story that serves to allay some of the dubious contentions which abound. Perhaps SEO has unfairly gotten a bad press in some quarters…

My case in point is that of Evolution Valet Limited, who have had staggering results on Google, thanks to the Organic Search Engineering Team at Metalfrog Studios.

“It’s only been seven weeks since we began the SEO process,” said the MD of Evolution Valet Limited “and we are already number one on Google for the keywords we created, and a maximum of number ten on other keywords - I am overwhelmed with the results so far.”

Metalfrog Studios are understandably pleased with the results they have produced for their client, and add; “Natural search engineering is not guaranteed to produce results this quickly in every case, but as we’ve seen, it can be done. The thing with search engineering is to make sure that your site is validated and ready to optimise (over 1700 websites in the region are not). This certainly can help speed up the process, but there are other aspects, such as understanding the feedback from the reports, and adjusting your approach with the information gained. It is a manual process, and needs thoughtful attention to achieve results.

Kevin agrees, and declares, “I have tried many different ways to optimise my site, including pay per click and all that, but Metalfrog convinced me that there are no quick and easy fixes, if I want a lasting result. The steady climb to where I am now shows that they are right, though neither of us expected it to be so rapid. One of the great things about organic optimisation is that it doesn’t cost a fortune…but it does require diligence, and you’ve got to put the work in.”

Could results such as those we see with Evolution Valet mean that more people will be returning to the tried and tested methods of natural optimisation, I wished to know?  The leading SEO specialist at Metalfrog smiles dubiously at this…

“One would really like to believe that people would stop listening to the quick- fix Gurus who make a fortune out of the unwary, but realistically, we don’t think so. People want results fast, and many are prepared to pay a fortune to see this happen. The problem with that is that the moment you stop paying, your ranking drops. Unfortunately this has given rise to bad publicity for honest developers, and the stigma around SEO is largely down to this. The truth is, it doesn’t cost anything like as much money to optimise naturally, it just takes a little longer, and you’ve got to be on it. We need to educate people to the simple facts…after all, it’s like the choice between taking steroids, and working out properly…one of these will yield healthy, lasting results…but do people want to do the work?
