I Think one of the key features of the site is here - The forums - but the issue we have is that if people don't use them and keep them active then they will never grow.
PLEASE PLEASE reply if you don't then the site will have to just stay the same and have no added features or impovements.
Any responses good or bad can only add benefit to the site and everyone who uses it.
The West Midlands Trade Show is taking place on Thursday 23rd August, in Birmingham. We have space for 20 exhibitors at the venue and have only a couple of spaces left.

This is a fantastic oppourtunity to promote your business to a large number of other regional businesses. With having networking taking place throughout the morning aswell.
I can't name a specific company as there are so many out there that do this - but when you call a company for help, advice of just general enquiry and you get put through to a call centre in various countries throughout the world, the staff have limited knowledge or training in their given subject, and are quite obviously reading from a pre written script. And god forbid you ask a question that is not answered on their little piece of paper.
This really infuriates me, we all know it is not the staffs fault, rather the chief exec in hiw ivory tower wanting to save money. unfortunately it is always the staff on the phone who recieve the abuse and harse words as they are on the front line.
I am guessing that this will have a major impact on a huge amount of people. Fortunately I have a fixed rate mortgage ( thank you!! ) and it will not affect me too much.
Just a quick thing would you be interested in moderating a Financial section on the forums so if people have any issues you could answer them?? either call, email or message me and we can chat about it!
I am looking for a venue in the West Midlands Birmingham way, but not in the centre. It must have ease of access and plenty of on site parking (ideally free parking). A large function room that can hold approx 200 people standing. Not necessarily a hotel can be a rugby club, cricket club, etc If anyone has any contacts or is a member of this type of club please please get in touch.

i was listening to Radio 1 the other day (Jo Whiley's show I think) and she made a very brief reference to the fact that it seems to be (completetly not tested backed by any type of report or anything to that nature) that every since the song that makes reference to Umbrella's has been at No 1 we seem to have had nothing but rain!!!
How uncanny is that. And yes it is still at No 1 good for the artist but not the rest of us it seems!!
I know exactly what you mean and where you are coming from with this. The old days of working from a script are well and truely gone (or they should be). Having a basic info sheet to work from while you find your feet on a new project or client is essential but you need to incorporate the personal element into each and every call. Out with the Hard sell and in with the actually getting to know what people want and wehter or not they actually have a need for what you are selling and finding how to fit what you are offering in to what they require.
I whole heartedly agree. When you recieve a blatent sales call all you want to say is look quit with the script you have in front of you and tell me what it actually is and what it can do for me. Then people start to listen.
You sound like a guy who has been there and done alot and obviously do extermely well in the telemarketing arena. I wish you every success and hopefully we may even cross paths in the future.
We have a modern, open plan office in the Centre of Coventry, in a prime location right next to a car park. We are moving and so have to space free.
Do you or do you know anyone who may be interested in sharing or taking the whole space? The rent is extremely reasonable for the location and viewing the space is highly recommended.
